2023 Upcoming Volkswagen Models

Volkswagen is enhancing its offerings for 2023 by introducing technologies across the board in a year without a brand-new model!

Every VW model comes with the Drive semi-automated driver assistance system for the first time in the United States. Additionally, Volkswagen has standardized its Digital Cockpit driver-information system across the entire lineup.

VW is moving the ID.4 battery-electric crossover manufacturing to its Chattanooga, Tennessee, facility. As the model year progresses, a new, less-priced version of the ID.4 will hit the market. The Passat midsize sedan, which has a limited production run for the 2022 model year, bows out due to the decision.

The significant upgrades to the 2023 Volkswagen lineup can be seen below.

2023 Volkswagen Arteon

  • Starting MSRP: $43,010
  • The base SE R-Line trim level of the Volkswagen Arteon sedan gains equipment, while the higher trim levels see visual updates. For 2023, the SE R-Line will gain a power-operated hatch, an adaptive lighting system, LED headlights, and fog lights.

Additionally, the SEL R-Line now has 20-inch wheels in place of the prior 19-inch ones. The line-topping SEL Premium R-Line also includes 30-color ambient lighting and black carbon trim.

    2023 Volkswagen Atlas/Atlas Cross Sport

  • Starting MSRP: $33,910

    2023 Volkswagen Golf GTI/Golf R

The Golf R was completely revamped by Volkswagen for the 2022 model year. As a result, 2023 will be the year of anniversary editions. A 20th Anniversary Edition has been added to the portfolio of high-performance Golf R vehicles. Other than that, the 2023 Volkswagen Golf R will only see modest visual changes.

    2023 Volkswagen ID.4 EV

  • Starting MSRP: $37,495
  • The arrival of a new, more affordable entry-level model of the VW ID.4 battery-electric crossover is the big news. VW is shifting the manufacture of the ID.4 EV for the American market to its Chattanooga, Tennessee, factory complex.

    2023 Volkswagen Jetta/Jetta GLI

  • Starting MSRP: $20,415
  • Only minimal aesthetic changes are made to the Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI for the 2023 model year, with the exception of adding a remote engine start to the midline SE trim. VW provides the Jetta in S, Sport, SE, and SEL trim levels, but only one Autobahn model is offered for the GLI.

And IQ. The SE trim now comes with Drive driving assistance technology as standard. Instead of 17-inch wheels, the S 4Motion version now has 18-inch wheels, and the SEL now comes standard with a panoramic sunroof.

    2023 Volkswagen Tiguan

  • Starting MSRP: $26,590
  • For the 2022 model year, Volkswagen updated the Tiguan compact crossover, so revisions for 2023 are minimal. For 2023, the Tiguan comes in four trim levels: S, SE, SE R-Line Black, and SEL R-Line. New 19-inch alloy wheels are added to the SE R-Line Black variant.
