Dodge:If you ain't first, you're last

One of the most recognizable American automakers, Dodge is renowned for its potent SUVs, pickup trucks, and muscle cars. Along with Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Chrysler, Dodge is a part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (formerly FCA, now Stellantis). This American manufacturer specializes in selling SUVs and muscle cars; its Ram truck lineup is also offered. Dodge vehicles typically have plenty of horsepower, with a huge selection of engines fueling an equally massive trim variety. These include the SRT Hellcat sedans and SUVs with Hemi V8 superchargers. The primary competitors for Dodge are Ford and Chevrolet.

The Dodge Brothers

In 1914, John and Horace Dodge, who were both born in the 1860s, started Dodge Brothers. They began as makers of bicycles and eventually rose to become the most popular automobile brand. They introduced novelties like sliding-gear gearboxes, 12-volt electrical systems, and all-steel bodywork. Sadly, John and Horace passed away in 1920, leaving their widows in charge of the business.

The Modern Era

Fiat Group purchased Chrysler after it sought bankruptcy protection in 2009. Ram Trucks and Dodge Cars were divided into two groups. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) was created in 2014 after the merger of Fiat and Fiat. Dodge is currently a part of Stellantis North America, an FCA company. The company sells a variety of vehicles, including the Journey, Attitude, Challenger, Charger, Durango, and Hornet. The Charger Daytona, Charger SRT Hellcat, Durango SRT Hellcat, and Charger SRT Demon are just a few examples of Dodge's high-performance and limited-edition models.

Dodge has evolved over the past century while preserving its character and personality. Dodge has a rich history and a wide range of automotive innovations. Dodge is both American and international, showing the brand's distinctive blend of American and international ideals by offering fun, thrilling, and distinctive automobiles.
