The Other Name of Promise

Kia is a Korean automaker that, like Genesis, is a subsidiary of parent corporation Hyundai. In 1973, Kia began manufacturing automobiles for the Korean market, primarily in the Yeongdeungpo-gu neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea. This year marks a watershed moment in the long and illustrious history of a now-global automaker, but the narrative begins much earlier. A business management philosophy explains the company's purpose while also acting as a basic guideline that molds workers' thinking and conduct. Kia's management philosophy may be summarized in three important phrases: complete accountability, fulfilling potential, and exercising humanity. These core beliefs are embodied in a single mantra: 'Building a new future and achieving humanity's goals by thinking creatively and confronting obstacles head-on.

They encourage a client-driven business culture by offering exceptional quality and service, with all values centered on the consumer. They refuse to be complacent, seize every chance for greater challenge, and are certain that they will achieve their goals with unyielding dedication and creative thinking. They generate synergy by cultivating a sense of "togetherness" inside the organization and with business partners through mutual communication and collaboration. They think that the future of our organization resides in the hearts and skills of individual members, and they will assist them in developing their potential by fostering a talent-respecting corporate culture. They value cultural and customary diversity, want to be the best at what they do, and strive to become a recognized global corporate citizen.

The Stinger sports sedan is exhilarating to drive, and the quirky Soul crossover is a standout in its class, carving out their own niches in the market. Because of its luxury feel and amazing pricing, the three-row Telluride SUV has earned numerous positions on our 10Best list, and even more traditional vehicles like the K5 sedan and Sportage crossover are intriguing options.

Popular Models

Kia Sportage

Starting at $26,290

The Kia Sportage is a solid small SUV with considerable storage room, a high-tech and well-crafted cabin, a balanced ride and handling, and a large list of standard features. However, engine performance falls short, and many basic tech and safety features are only available in pricier models.

Kia Telluride

Starting at $35,890

The updated Kia Telluride is a fantastic SUV. The Telluride features a roomy and comfortable cabin that may accommodate up to seven or eight people, depending on the arrangement. It boasts plenty of cargo room, an easy-to-use infotainment system, and a slew of standard safety and convenience features. The Telluride is also pleasurable to drive due to its strong V6 engine, surefooted handling, and comfortable ride. The topping on the figurative cake is a relatively modest starting price and a generous 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

Kia Sorento

Starting at $30,090

The Kia Sorento is an excellent midsize SUV. The Sorento has an upmarket cabin and a slew of standard technology and safety features. It can accommodate up to seven people and has a lot of cargo room, at least when the rear seats are folded. The Sorento rides and handles well for a vehicle of its size, and it comes with two engine options (one frugal, one fast). Kia also offers a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty on the Sorento. The Sorento's third-row seats aren't suitable for adults, and its optional dual-clutch gearbox may be twitchy in stop-and-go traffic.

Kia Forte

Starting at $19,690

The Kia Forte is an excellent little automobile. Kia crams a lot of standard tech and driver-assistance goodies into this little car, and both rows are fairly comfy and capacious. The Forte also offers an easy-to-use infotainment system and a spacious trunk. Its performance is less spectacular, with conflicting feelings about the ride and handling. Its original four-cylinder engine is equally uninspiring, though it produces outstanding fuel efficiency, and a more lively turbo-four is available.

Kia Soul

Starting at $19,890

If you're looking for a new SUV on a limited budget, the Kia Soul is an excellent option. The Soul begins at slightly under $20,000 and comes standard with Apple CarPlay, forward automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. The inside is large for both passengers and goods, and the Soul manages to give a comfortable ride while being quite nimble. Even better, Kia backs up its boxy hatchback with a 10-year/100,000-mile guarantee. If there is a drawback, it is that the Soul may seem slow at highway speeds while being a fun car to drive around town. Furthermore, all-wheel drive is not accessible.
